Landscaping & Decking
Christian came to us with a very loose brief regarding decking shape, look and feel:
"Extend the living space out into the garden..." and that was it!
We worked together to come up with a shape not only to allow the existing greenery to form part of the structure,
but also to work with a modern angular finish to complement the choice of bi-fold doors.
Landscaping & Decking
Sally & Rob, Wilmslow
Sally & Rob approached us for some assistance to open out the back of their house with some decking. As the Sally & Rob have two young children, one key aspect of the design was to ensure they could play outside without risk of tripping and falling down the steps.
In addition they were keen to extend the their dining room into the garden to allow the family to entertain with Saturday evening pizza nights and bank-holiday barbecues!
The finished product complements the house structure and existing folding doors. The addition of a simple gate allows the two little ones to be outside without causing too much havoc!
John & Michelle, South Manchester
John & Michelle's design brief for their landscaping project was to have a couple of key areas in the garden to allow maximum use of the property's space.
One key request was to lay low-maintenance artificial grass. This is an increasingly popular choice with busy professional couples or in properties where there are drainage issues, or gardens with large trees - their roots taking away water and nutrients required to maintain and aesthetic lawn.
The second key request was to have a patio area allowing for alfresco living and dining.
The finished product has ticked both of these design requests and has allowed John & Michelle the ability to enjoy time in the garden.
Ally & Cathy, South Manchester
Following the extension and renovation part of the project, Ally & Cathy were keen to extend the living space into the garden with an Indian stone patio and dining area to the rear of the property.
The additional landscaping to the rear of the plot has enhanced the finished project - allowing the family to entertain both inside and out!
